Pros and cons of Accudio™ Pro app for iPhone and iPad

Accudio™ Pro app good for

Absolutely enjoying this App. Great sound with my Westone W4 headphones. Just a little bug: If I try to play a song from iTunes Match the App just crashes. It would be great if streaming is possible in the future. And maybe iPhone 5 resolution;-)
Update 16.12.14: Design is now awesome! Thank you! 5 stars!!! Old review: ... Design is so iOS4 or so... The app was updated today but still this awful design making me not using the app very often. The last update was about iPhone5/5s ... What? We are living in 2014 with newer devices, dear Golden Ears ;)
Overall this is a great app, definitely does what it says. I have a few of the supported headphones and the EQ settings certainly bring more clarity and definition without taking away from the headphones character. The manual adjustments make complete sense and provide just enough adjustment to fine tune your cans. The app can be clunky at times to get around, and a few of the play options like shuffle would be a nice addition. Very small prices to pay for awesome sound!! Thank you!
This new version adds the little features that were missing to make it the best (especially the shuffle!). I am totally impressed of the sound of my Etymotic earphones through this app. Listening to music in portable mode gets to a totally different level, with ample soundstage and transparency. Makes my simple setup iPhone + Etys (or iPhone + DT770) to get pretty close to reference grade. Now I just hope that my Sennheiser Momentum will appear in the database very soon, as these headphones are now my favorite for music listening at work. I have been able to make a custom EQ for them that does a great job, but Im sure the real data from GoldenEars will give better results!
This the best app for all who really care about sound quality, I ghighly recommend it!!!
I have iOS7 and i cant use this very very good aplication. I buy this app and i have a trouble! :( Why do not you do?!

Some bad moments

Update 10/13/16 They have just put out a new app release - BUT still have not updated the headphone database since the end of 2015!! Come on guys update the headphone database. This app is useless unless you have OLD headphones since they havent added any new models for almost a year!!! Previous release review: About two months ago they stopped updating their headphone profiles. Although they continue to measure and post new headphones on their site. I dont see the point of having a website with detailed measurements and then showing how it would sound with accudio but then not adding the profiles to the accudio app. Its like they purposely taunting you, "Weve made the measurements and corrections - but you cant have them!"
There used to be a handy meter that would always show how loud the volume was on the give model of headphones you had plugged in. Now that loudness meter is gone and you are forced to use the EQ adaption without as many configuration options. Software development 101: never ever remove software features without first consulting your userbase.
Crashes everytime im trying to play a song which is on the cloud, a big cons when you have 90% of your library in the cloud. Otherwise, very great EQs. 5 stars if they add the compatibility with iTunes Cloud.
Many of albums will not or uncorrect transfered/synced from local music(itunes) to accudio pro "albums"(folders) :-( New installation does not help! Please fix and update this bug, thanks!
I bought this app because of the unique option to chose our headphones and having a preset that was best for them... Imagine my deception when I realised that my pair of headphones wasnt supported. I have the AiAiAi TMA-1 Studio and the Sony MDR-XB500 and both arent supported. Add those two pairs and an iPod Touch 5th Generation compatibility and I will give you the 5 stars you deserve.
The developers have a massive list of headphones (mine are supported even though they are limited to sale in Canada only) and this app makes them sound better than ever before. edit: The app keeps crashing on my iPhone 5. If the app gets to a point where I can actually listen to my non-drm iTunes music then I will change my rating to 5 stars again.
