In its latest inception, many bugs that people have complained about are gone. But the EQ and Accudios application of the GoldenEars data to create presets are the really important thing...and the only thing that really matters to me. Here, Accudio succeeds quite well. I play my music through a highly-regarded outboard amp, through state-of-the-art transducers (Shure and Audeze) On both counts (more on the Audeze than the Shure), the preset EQ settings are very good indeed. But other things will also impact sound including amplification, cables, the quality of your source and, most importantly, your own tastes and the state of your own hearing. So although Accudio is good at what it does, their presets are best seen as "educated suggestions", that most will inevitably want to tweak or improve upon. But this is a good place to start.
